Job Description

- Managing computer inventory, including management of department resources (computers, accessories, medical devices), scoring software installations, and troubleshooting.
- Managing iPhone/iPad inventory, including collaborating on protocol/clinic-specific profiles, facilitating maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.
- NIH Toolbox installations, including license management and annual renewals.
- Coordinating and performing software updates.
- Assisting with SPSS server maintenance, licenses, and installations.
- Backup database administrator for SQL Server.
- Participating in data management and analytics initiatives in line with departmental and institutional goals and expectations.
- Interfacing and collaborating with faculty, principal investigators, clinical research associates, psychology examiners, and other IS teams throughout the institution.
- Developing SOPs and other resource documents for departmental processes and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field of study required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery preferred. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, this position is required to have a minimum of 4 years of experience with an Associate's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience with a high school degree.
- Highly prefer experience in a client services/technical support role.

Position Overview:
The department of Psychology and Biobehavioral Sciences at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Systems Engineer. This role is responsible for managing departmental technology resources and handling device and equipment inventory. This is an opportunity to collaborate with and provide solutions between various research and clinical groups at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have strong software and database systems expertise including installation and configuration of systems and maintaining and troubleshooting computers, mobile devices, and medical devices.Job Responsibilities:

This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
