Learn established MM systems to leverage for novel new system technologies
Initiate new MM principles to help enable larger more automated constellations
Design a requirements compliant MM system; manage MM interfaces
Oversee MM SW development to ensure requirements are satisfied
regularly
Support continuous integration/continuous delivery development principles
Assist integration in troubleshooting MM application issues and driving defects to closure
Systems engineering lifecycle experience
Experience with a satellite ground system mission management domain or related fields
Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
Current TSSCI security clearance An active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Candidates demonstrating a strong interest to learn can overcome gaps in past experience qualifications
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) resources would be helpful (ex. Cameo). Engineers that are interested in the big picture (architecture) and/or detailed design are all welcome.
Development experience on a large software government contract
Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps development methods
Experience in Agile software development
Understanding of automation techniques
Experience in test verification of requirements
Experience with integration and test procedures and plans
Experience working in a multi-discipline environment
Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer – Mission Management (MM) with experience in ground system mission management, working alongside senior engineers on multiple programs. Mission Management is responsible with the tasking and scheduling of all activity across the constellation and bridges the needs of our customer with the function of the satellites. The MM SE is responsible for guiding the architecture and design of future planning and scheduling as constellations become more and more complicated. The problems of the past with one satellite become the opportunity of the future as you orchestrate needs across hundreds of satellites. To make this a reality the candidate should be comfortable implementing automation, understands artificial intelligence and machine learning, and can visualize the needs of a large scale system.
As the Systems Engineer – MM you will be providing engineering support to develop and improve an advanced satellite ground system. In addition to working with other Engineering disciplines, you will be exposed to various technologies including multi-tiered architectures, Amazon Web Services and numerous program specific operational resources.
Our Program follows modern Agile / DevOps development practices utilizing an agile framework and we provide extensive and easy-to-use instruments for reporting status and estimates to your Agile team stakeholders - meaning more time for true problem solving. Our small Agile teams adapt to evolving problem sets, and Engineers benefit from a flexible work environment where Engineers can migrate between teams to contribute to new domains.
