      Lockheed Martin seeks a thought leader to direct systems engineering leadership for multiple programs in Special Programs/Remote Sensing. Details on this exciting and critical role follow below.

      In this role you will provide overall Mission Operations Systems Engineering leadership for the multiple programs within the Special Programs Line of Business. Oversee system trending, analysis, operations support, anomaly support and maintenance of support tools. Function as primary point of contact between the Programs, the Customer and all outside organizations for all mission operations support activities. Actively participate as part of the Program management team in successful performance and completion on multiple contracts. This includes participation program-level status/integration meetings. Actively work with all RS programs to maximize synergies for cost efficiencies and headcount reductions. Position reports to the Director of System Engineering for P819 and P321 programs.

      • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or closely related field
      • Prior Systems Engineering leadership experience • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
      • Strong FSL skills and capabilities with proven ability to build large, diverse, inclusive teams
      • Proven ability to work across the Enterprise to partner with the functional organizations
      • Experience in defining program operations and business rhythms and driving tactical execution
