What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Enterprise Server Virtualization
- Design, architect, implement, configure, and monitor Enterprise server virtualization using VMware Hypervisor platform
- Manage physical hardware in corporate data centers and remote facilities
- Ensure compliance with vendor best practices and security policies
- Collaborate with platform teams on lifecycle management and maintain business continuity solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or 7-12 years of relevant experience
- Experience with VMware Cloud Foundations, NSX, and related technologies
- Proficiency in administration of enterprise physical and virtual server environments
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
- Ability to work on nights, weekends, and holidays for support and system upgrades
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in administration of additional enterprise-level hypervisors
- Familiarity with Windows Server and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems
- Experience in administration of storage arrays or data protection solutions
- Strong knowledge of ITS infrastructure and troubleshooting experience
- Proven pattern of initiative and technical innovation
