This is an opportunity to work on the Simulation and System Test (SST) F-35 Reprogramming Laboratory (RL) Design team. Within the SST organization resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, Reprogramming Laboratories, and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues.
Seeking a candidate to join the SST F-35 RL Design team as a Systems Engineer Senior where he/she will perform requirements and design development activities for different RL projects along with supporting RL sustainment tasks. This candidate will have the opportunity to use model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo to develop requirements and design artifacts to help analyze and build capability upgrades for these reprogramming labs.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Developing System/Subsystem Specifications (SSS) ensuring there is traceability of requirements to higher and lower tier system requirements
• Developing design artifacts using the Cameo SysML tool
• Supporting development/updates to performance-based specifications that are delivered to system suppliers
• Interact, plan, and coordinate with multiple systems engineering teams
• Participate in technical reviews of RL productsYou will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Experience in systems engineering development and application of processes/tools
• Experience with Cameo (MBSE tool)
• Experience working across multiple teams • Strong analytical, problem solving
• Strong organization skills with high attention to detail
• Familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems
