      Job Description

      You will be a Systems Integration & Test Engineer and Field Missile Activity (FMA) Lead at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, TX, responsible for leading a diverse field team in sustaining the PATRIOT Advanced Capability III (PAC-3) missiles in the United States and international partner locations. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality products and services, and as an FMA Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful integration, testing, and delivery of PAC-3 missiles.

      What You Will Be Doing
      As an FMA Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in performing software upgrades, integration, and testing of PAC-3 missiles. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers, managing field team logistics, and preparing for and leading meetings. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the completion and delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) artifacts.

      Your responsibilities will include:
      • Leading a diverse field team in sustaining PAC-3 missiles
      • Reviewing and approving test plans and procedures for system and sub-system integration
      • Maintaining and implementing field installation, integration, and test schedules
      • Coordinating with customers, field team logistics, and other stakeholders
      • Delivering completion reports to the program, customer, and logistics departments
      • Ensuring the field team is staffed, trained, and adaptable to support customer requirements

      MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance is required to start.

      Desired skills

      • Demonstrate knowledge of PAC-3 subsystem HW/SW capabilities and how they interact with the complete system.
      • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems remotely and coordinate other integration participants for efficiency.
      • Deliver effective customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
      • Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.
      • Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.
      • Demonstrated technical leadership associated with missile development, master test planning, and integration and test scope planning inclusive of cost, schedule, and technical performance.

      Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

      National Pay Statement

      Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
      Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
      (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
