What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and optimize software architecture and frameworks for real-world performance
- Improve efficiency by optimizing computer utilization with multiple hardware engines
- Work on component abstraction layers, inter-process data sharing, and process scheduling
- Validate software components with large amounts of real and synthetic data
- Perform in-vehicle tests and develop unit/integration tests and documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/MS or higher in computer engineering, computer science, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in software engineering
- Excellent programming skills in C, C++, and Python
- Experience in developing and debugging multithreaded/distributed applications
- Strong understanding of Linux and real-time operating systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of automotive systems, specifically ADAS applications
- Research background in discrete optimization and/or real-time scheduling
- Experience or interest in computer vision and image processing
- Familiarity with frameworks for robotics such as ROS
- Experience shipping products that meet ISO26262 standards
