What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain accurate documentation of PLC code for control systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLC-based control systems at customer sites
- Conduct thorough testing of control systems to ensure functionality
- Install and commission control systems, ensuring they meet customer requirements
- Provide world-class customer service through preventative maintenance and repair support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of 1-4 years of relevant experience in electro/mechanical repair and troubleshooting
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Rockwell programming software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with industrial sensors, including photoeyes and proximity switches
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to adjust priorities as needed
- Solid understanding of DeviceNet and Industrial Ethernet
- Knowledge of industrial electrical components and control system requirements in a washdown environment
- Proficiency in industrial control system design and programming with Allen-Bradley PLC and Siemens TIA Portal
