      Job Title: SyteLine Consultant

      Job Description

      We are seeking an experienced ERP Support Specialist with strong technical expertise in SyteLine version 6, Progress 9.1C development, and ideally Optio development/support. This role is critical to supporting the legacy ERP system during a major migration to Oracle, with a focus on maintaining business continuity and resolving daily operational issues.

      Responsibilities

      • Provide day-to-day support for the existing SyteLine v6 ERP system.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve break/fix issues, including imports such as forecasting and order details, user permissions and account creation, and process errors causing delays in shipping and goods-in.
      • Act as a key support resource during the ERP migration project.
      • Collaborate with users to identify and resolve process gaps.
      • Work closely with the existing SyteLine resource for knowledge transfer and mentoring.
      • Manage helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution.
      • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support the transition to the new Oracle ERP system.

      Essential Skills

      • Proven experience with SyteLine version 6 (Progress-based).
      • Strong knowledge of Progress 9.1C and administration.
      • Experience with Optio development and support (desirable).
      • Familiarity with SQL Server and general development skills (bonus).
      • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support tickets.
      • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Immediate start preferred.
      • SC clearance required (or must be eligible), with support provided for the clearance process.
