Job Description

- Provides continuous uninterrupted supply of properly prepared finished goods to be shipped.
- Notifies Warehouse and Production leads, supervisors or managers of any issues with the product.
- Ensures that all Safety Policies are followed, ensures that proper safety equipment is being worn, including but not limited to: bump caps, gloves, coats, pants, safety glasses, face shield and hearing protection.
- Maintain a Daily Production Log Book.
- Relieves other operators for their breaks in a timely manner and assist others as needed.
- Able to read, write, and speak English satisfactorily to perform essential duties.
- Requires good computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel – familiar with pivot tables, and Outlook), and ERP experience preferred.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Requires lifting up to 50 lbs. continuously.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, work any assigned shift, and work extended hours and weekends during the fresh pack season, typically July – early October.
- Eligible for paid sick leave.

NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.
We are looking for a Part Time Warehouse Tagger Operator I to be responsible for Warehouse Operations and production needs. Prepares all shipment tags as assigned. Maintains the assigned work area in a clean orderly manner and perform other duties as assigned. Ensures that all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Safety, and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Company policies and procedures are being followed. This is a union, part-time position (full-time during pack season, July – October, and when running production off season; part-time the rest of the year).
