      Tank Farm Controller

      Cameronbridge, Scotland

      Regular contract

      Closing date: 20/08/2023

      Shift rotation: alternate day shift (6am to 2pm mon - thu; 6am to 12pm fri) and back shift (2pm to 10pm mon - thu; 12pm to 6pm fri)

      Base Salary (inclusive of shift allowance) £50,499.71 + competitive benefits package with pension, shares scheme and bonus!

      About the role

      As member of the White Spirits Team within the tank farm function at Cameronbridge Distillery, you will be involved in shifts working within a self-managed team, and will be responsible for the following:

      • Processing of all tanker movements into and out of site including new make whisky, gin, vodka and sides streams
      • Accounting and quality checks for all warehouse movements to HMRC (notice 196 and 197) and Diageo requirements.
      • Deliver flexible team working methods that optimise all resources available.
      • Be a key member of the white spirits and scotch whisky supply chains.
      • Responsible for the correct accounting of circa 200 MLA annually.
      • Planning and delivery against many objectives including white spirits supply to Leven Spirit Supply and exports to various countries.
      • Delivering new make whisky plan with links into spirit supply centre. External links to transport companies and customers for feints and fusel oil.
      • Must work flexibly within present tank farm agreement and operational resources to ensure plans delivered efficiently.
      • Completion of complex paperwork (W8 and AAD), EMCS (HMR&C system) and accounting systems (CE2). Cameronbridge is also a lower tier COMAH site.
      • Ensure adherence to HMRC regulations including completion of paperwork and on-line systems.
      • Ensure adherence to COMAH Regs.

      About you

      We're looking for someone who has familiarity with processing bulk spirits tankers/storage. MOD 300 and CE2 systems; Permit to Work, COSHH and CoMAH awareness are desirable!

      It would be great if you had Maths and English formal qualifications and digital literacy.
