Role Description

• GCP cloud migration – Able to work in GCP - Strong knowledge of GKE clusters, Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP Dev Ops, understand the deployment process ,GCO monitoring.
• Hands on knowledge in PostgreSQL.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines- with GKE for application deployment.
• Implement security measures and best practices for GKE platform.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Build and maintain monitoring /alerting solutions for GKE platform.
• Good to have banking domain knowledge on GCP.
• Able to migrate .Net APIs to GCP.
• Understand the Kafka implementation for integration.
• Provide professional consultancy and support in response to the queries from developers and business on security access.
• Work closely with global and regional stakeholders and global development team on mandatory / regulatory / development projects.
• Ensure systems complying with group infrastructure and security policies/standards.
• Experience of working in a multicultural environment demonstrable ability to adapt to different cultures.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and Build APIs
• Basic Java and SQL knowledge is needed.
• Work closely with leads to understand and map the UI and API design as per requirements.
• Should be able to design and code as per portal standards.
• Complete API unit testing and ensure proper coverage.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to resolve issues faster.
• Should be able to integrate with CI/CD.

Your skills and experience

• Build & manage container platform with GKE on GCP.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders - Product, other SRE and support teams, to rollout new features.
• Google Cloud Platform core services
• Kubernetes Platform Development and administration
• Containerization technologies - Docker
• Cloud native architecture and microservices
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong knowledge of standard development and build tools, e.g. GITHub.
• Hand on strong development experience in .Net core APIs , core Java .
• Basic understanding of React/Angular.
• Experience with MVC and design patterns.
• Experience in working with Agile methodology.
• Experience of unit testing practices.
• Good knowledge of Agile Scrum and knowledge of tools like JIRA, confluence.
• Strong English Communication and analytical skills are a must for working in a complex global team environment.
• Strong team player who also can work under pressure, independently and proactively while balancing competing priorities to achieve results on complex new development and integrations.
• The candidate should have both a high attention to detail and be able to articulate designs and implementation aspects in a concise manner.
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree with experience of 7+ years.
