Job Description
The Senior Tax Accountant position is a key part of the Domestic Tax and Administration team within the Enterprise Operations Corporate Tax Organization. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting various financial tasks and projects, with opportunities for growth, development, and making a tangible impact on the company's financial success.
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in R&D tax law, tax forecasting, tax compliance and support the IRS audit. You will work closely with other teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of tax-related activities and contribute to the company's financial success.
Some key responsibilities for the role include:
• Identify and document innovative activities eligible for the R&D tax credit, unlocking significant financial benefits for the company.
• Drive financial insights by preparing various R&D calculations for quarterly close, tax returns, and long-range plans.
• Prepare responses to IRS audit requests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to substantiate tax positions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and interpret new and existing tax laws, court cases, regulations, and rulings to provide strategic insights regarding R&D tax credit positions .
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance, ensuring the tax function remains a strategic partner to the business.
• Participate in digital transformation initiatives that leverage technology to streamline tax processes, improve data management, and enhance the overall tax function.
• Contribute to various special projects and initiatives as needed, applying your tax expertise and analytical skills to drive business outcomes and support the company's strategic objectives.
These responsibilities require effective analytical, collaboration and communication skills.

• CPA and/or Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in public accounting firm or large company tax department.
• Familiarity with ASC740, corporate income tax compliance and SARBOX
• Proficiency with Thomson Reuters OTP, Oracle and/or CorpTax.
• Familiarity with Alteryx, AI, dashboards and/or digital transformations.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
