      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Support the University’s global tax compliance efforts under the direction of the Assistant Tax Director
      - Perform basic tax research tasks including reading and analyzing tax return instructions and regulations
      - Gather tax reporting data and compile it into tax preparation software and documents
      - Respond to tax-related inquiries and assist with tax notices from taxing authorities
      - Assist with the preparation of various tax returns and reports focusing on specific tax subspecialties

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
      - 1 to 2 years of experience in preparing U.S. federal, state, or local income or indirect tax returns
      - Basic understanding of accounting concepts and reconciliations
      - Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with a wide range of contacts
      - Demonstrated success in functioning as part of a team and managing confidential information

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Active CPA or bar licensure or desire to obtain CPA or bar licensure
      - Experience with non-profit taxation
