      Responsibilities

      Tasks

      • Construct displays and dioramas, build models, install artifacts in displays and prepare artifacts for storage and shipping
      • Prepare and mount skins of birds or animals for preservation, scientific or display purposes
      • Shave hides to uniform thickness
      • Remove flesh and loose hair from hides and pelts
      • Prepare solutions for preservation of specimens
      • Prepare solutions to clean, dehair, pickle, oil or tan hides and skins
      • Follow formulation card to mix resin batches for injection moulding process
      • Ensure details follow the project’s original intention
