      TCS Transport Officer (HRL 15)

      We’re on the lookout for a TCS Transport Officer based in Pietermaritzburg to ensure all Financial and Administrative aspects regarding Sappi transport contractors and customer sales are efficiently managed.

      As a TCS Transport Officer, you will be responsible for:

      • Accurately update contractor rates in TCS after approval from Logistics Manager to ensure that the haulers are paid correct rates
      • Prepare monthly payments for Haulers by sending remittances to Logistics Managers for approval then preparing payment proposal in SAP to ensure payment is done 25 days after month end
      • Adjust RSA fuel price change monthly in TCS to ensure that the fuel portion rate in TCS is in line with diesel/petrol price movement
      • Check and monitor the diesel usage by Haulers from Sappi bowser and fuel cards and reconcile weekly and monthly to ensure correct litres are claimed back from SARS
      • Prepare monthly recons for Haulers in excel to ensure all invoices raised are paid within agreed period and follow up on any outstanding items on the recon
      Accurately update Transnet rates and fuel levy annually in TCS after approval from Logistics Manager to ensure that Transnet is paid correct rates
      • Prepare monthly payments for Transnet by sending remittances to Logistics Managers for approval then preparing payment proposal in SAP to ensure payment is done 25 days after month end
      Monitor all cash in advance customers by ensuring payments are reflecting in Sappi’s bank account before sales are made to avoid any write offs
      Review and updated Transport procedures annually to ensure processes are valid
      • Ensure that master data for SAP and TCS are in sync at all times by recording all changes in a central register and updating both systems simultaneously
      • Assist in Khulisa vendor master creation in SAP and TCS to ensure all Growers are created timeously for source activation creation and label printing

      What are we looking for?

      • Grade 12.
      • Financial Diploma or studying towards a Financial degree would be advantageous.
      • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
      • TCS & SAP experience would be advantageous.
      • Advanced excel skills.
      • Valid drivers licence.
