- Assist special education teachers in providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students with their daily activities and educational tasks.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in classroom management and behavior intervention strategies.
- Monitor and document student progress and performance.

Education: Highschool Diploma or GED Equivalent, 36 College credit hours preferred*
Requirements
Teacher Assistants are expected to apply for their substitute teaching certification within (60) days of hire. KVC Missouri will cover the costs associated with your application and certification for candidates who have completed 36 college credit hours.
