What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, organize, and deliver instruction that promotes active learning and meets the needs of all students
- Supervise students in various school-related settings
- Manage student behavior and enforce classroom expectations
- Assign and grade class work, homework, assessments, and assignments
- Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff, and the community
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Teaching certificate from the Maryland State Department of Education
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with instructional technology and Microsoft Office Suite

- Previous teaching experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with blended learning models and virtual instruction
