      Clayton County Public Schools Division of Human Resources is hosting a TEACHER Job Fair – July 24, 2024 3PM to 5PM Sourcing all ( Teacher Vacancies for 2024 - 2025 School Year)

      When: Wednesday, July 24, 2024

      Time: 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

      Location: MD Roberts

      1905 Walt Stephens Rd.

      Jonesboro, GA 30236

      In an effort to expedite candidate entry you are encouraged to ‘apply’ for this posting, which will serve as your pre-registration for the upcoming job fair. All unofficial transcripts and current teaching credentials must be included in the registration application. You will not need to share what you are interested in teaching, we will inform you of what you are potentially eligible to teach once your transcript(s) and/or credentials are reviewed.

      Once reviewed, you will receive a confirmation email advising you of the content area(s) that you may be eligible to teach. (i.e., High School Math, Science, etc.) Please be certain to include an accurate email address on your application.

      **Please note, pre-registration applications which do not contain transcripts and/or certification documents will be considered incomplete. Confirmation emails will only be distributed to candidates with completed pre-registration applications.

      Confirmation Date: All successfully registered applicants should receive an email confirmation.

      FOR ADMISSION:

      Bachelor's degree from a GAPSC approved college/university. (Unofficial transcripts must be provided on-site to verify all degrees).

      -and/or-

      Hold a valid or expired teaching certificate.

      If you do not have a Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) teaching certificate, you must complete the following steps before processing your application. If any of the items listed are missing, your hiring process will be delayed until all documentation is received :

      • Create a GaPSC MyPSC account. Please click here to register for your GaPSC certification account if you do not have an account.
      • Answer the Personal Affirmation Questions in your MyPSC account
      • The following must be uploaded to your TalentEd application:
      • Submit all official college transcripts to mail@gapsc.com
      • If a waiver is being requested for you, pay the $20 fee in your MyPSC account
      • Complete the GACE Ethics 360 assessment (there is a $30 fee, and the assessment may be taken at home). Print out the Certificate of Completion and upload it to your TalentEd application (if applicable).
      • Upload proof of registration for any required GACE content assessments (If applicable)

      After the certification team has reviewed your application, it will be reviewed by a human resources director, who will contact you if any of your required documents are missing. You will have one business day to respond to requests, which may delay your hiring process.

      TO WAIVE THE GPA REQUIREMENT:

      1. Earned a Bachelor's degree over 10 years ago
      2. Proof of current enrollment or completion of a GAPSC approved Master's degree program
      3. Proof of current enrollment or completion of a GAPSC approved certification program

      TO QUALIFY FOR A PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATE:

      1. Possess conferred Bachelor's degree or higher
      2. Complete GACE Educator Ethics 360 Assessment
      3. Pass required GACE Content Assessment

      *NOTE: If an educator has not passed the content assessment, proof of test registration must be uploaded with employment application.
