- Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced Degree preferred.
- Qualified candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a Georgia teaching certificate in Health and Physical Education P-12.

- Collaborates with colleagues and community stakeholders to reach educational goals.
- High School PE/Health Teachers coaches at least two extracurricular athletic activities if required to do so.
- Willing to serve as an athletic coach at the Middle School or High School level if a vacant supplemented coaching position is identified by the Director of Athletics after July 1 of the current fiscal year.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the principal or other appropriate administrator.

- Clear speech and hearing abilities for effective communication.
- Visual acuity to read printed and digital materials.
