Oversee the educational activities within the childcare classroom
Apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the childcare field
Establish and maintain supportive relationships with children and parents
Work cooperatively in a team atmosphere.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
You are eighteen years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years documented child care work related experience
Have the ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a team
Background check results satisfactory to SEL and DEL
Current Washington State Food Handlers Permit
Current HIV/AIDS and blood borne pathogen training
Negative Mantoux TB test result(s)
Current Infant, Child & Adult First Aid/CPR certified
Meet STARS training requirement in the state of Washington and be listed in the State Training and Registry System
Valid Driver's License
Ability to meet MVR Qualification Standards of SEL
Current Child Abuse and Neglect Training
Current Safe Sleep Training
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Negative drug test result(s)
Lift up to 50lbs frequently
Sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours

Pay Range Data
New hires generally start at $19.00 per hour. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Pay range for this position is $15.87 - $23.85 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
