Job Description

- Train team members on safe work practices and promote safe work habits.
- Perform varied production tasks under the regular direction of the Supervisor Production, including but not limited to operation of machines, assembling and packaging of products as well as inspecting and measuring parts to verify conformance to specifications.
- Assist in all aspects of training each team member on all machines and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to eliminate defective parts.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the quality criteria for each product so as to provide assistance and ensure the quality the products produced by the team.
- When needed assist with staging of finished product onto pallets and into the plant warehouse.
- Assist with Assembly equipment set ups as needed.
- Reset and setup operation of scales.
- Assist with housekeeping and ensure that team members are keeping production and warehouse areas orderly.
- Notify Supervisor Production of any non-standard or sub-performance operational issues as well as quality and safety issues.
- Ensure that established policies, procedures, rules and regulations are understood and followed.
- Participate in all training programs as well as the GMS system.
- Completing Work Orders
- High School Diploma.
- Two to Five years of assembly equipment or material handling experience.
- Experience working with a variety of assembly machines and/or processes.
- Experienced knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice within the Medical or Food Industry.
- Experience working in a fast paced operational environment with constant interaction with operators, technicians and equipment.
- Experience in problem solving and trouble-shooting of processes and process equipment.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Job Description
The Team Lead Manual Assembly primarily assists the Supervisor Production in the technical management of the shift by ensuring proper day to day operations of the shift.
