- Take on the position of Team Leader, working on a huge range of Bridge & Culvert Maintenance Projects across the whole NSW West Region.
- Take on works that could include anything from rebuilding trusses on a heritage listed timber bridge, to culvert replacement, re-painting, concrete repairs, clearing vegetation, reo & concreting, and other general maintenance across the 1400+ bridges in the region.
- Working with your team, you will take responsibility for planning works, assigning duties, sorting out plant and materials, toolbox talks, setting up the site, and more.
- This role is based near Dubbo but you will often find yourself carrying out work at various locations across the region requiring multi-night stays. The role operates on a 38hr week/9-day fortnight with overtime opportunities. It is offering job security and work-life balance.
- You’re experienced being hands on and leading crews in the Civil Construction space. Ideally, you have a fair bit of bridge-related maintenance experience, but if you have been in the civil project space for a while, we’d still love to have a chat.
- You’ll either be trade qualified (carpentry, maintenance welding, painting, etc) or be someone with extensive experience and with relevant practical skills but not necessarily possessing a trade certificate.
- In addition to the skills and experience, you’ll need to be comfortable working away from home, have decent computer proficiency, strong communication skills, excellent planning skills, and really enjoy working in a close-knit team environment
