- Implement effective Mangrove programs and achieve performance targets as stated in project proposals/designs
- Provide support and guidance to Project Officers to define and manage the project scopes, including all activities required to deliver the expected deliverables with high quality standard.
- Developing budgets, identifying cost estimates, as well as regularly monitoring budgets and expenditures, in close collaboration with Finance and Admin Officer. Ensure that all supply chain management (procurement, logistic, and asset) that are related to the project comply with the procedures and SOPs
- Work closely with DKPP, Bappedda, Universities and other potential partners to ensure efficient utilization of the project duration by developing accurate planning/schedule which should be done by comprehensively identifying the activities that need to be performed to produce the project deliverables; identifying the relationships that exist among the various scheduled activities; allocating the type and quantity of resources available/required to perform each scheduled activity.
- Build capacity of project officers, project partners and other related stakeholder on Mangrove Restoration and Livelihood-related outcomes as stated on the project proposal/design
- Conduct effective Monitoring & Evaluation, produce good documentation and well coordinated reporting system, and documenting lesson learned.
- To prepare project documentation and reporting to ensure all required report are submitted on time, accurate, and complete. This is including provision of information for monthly report, quarterly report, monitoring checklist, along with updated indicator tracking table and project documentation.
- Identify and monitor all potential project risks and plan for actions to mitigate the risk and its impact to the project performance.
- Conduct field visit to project sites on a regular basis for monitoring, provision of hands-on support and quality assurance.
- Provide inputs as required to project process, achievement of activity targets and required modification of project objectives including contribute to the identification and development of new disaster risk management projects activities of World Vision Indonesia.
- Build relationship with partners, stakeholders, donors and funding agencies to support effective project activities especially in the Surabaya City and East Java Province
- Build collaboration or partnering with other advocacy institutions (NGOs, churches, FBOs, etc.) especially in the Surabaya City Municipality to leverage Mangrove restoration.
- Bachelor Degree in Development Agriculture, Fishery, or Forestry, Social Science, or relevant background (Master Degree preferred)
- At least 5 years experiences in Agriculture, Fishery, or Forestry management Field; 3 years minimum in project management and development; Capacity building and/or experience with institutional strengthening; 2-3 years’ experience in community development, relief, humanitarian or related professional experience at a similar capacity. Experience with international organization (preferred)
- Understanding on Mangrove restoration Management related policies and practice in Indonesia; Technical capacity and interest in environment issues, community participation, project design, Advance English both spoken and written : Excellent reporting (is a MUST) and computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and achieve results through collaboration
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, with good judgment and initiative
- Must be flexible and adaptive to change

World Vision Korea together with Wahana Visi Indonesia through Mangrove Adaptive and Resilient Village for Enhanced Livelihoods by Adopting Sustainable and Environmentally-friendly Aquaculture (MARVEL SEA) developed a mangrove ecosystem rehabilitation and livelihood improvement program. This program is implemented in Surabaya City with a duration of 23 months from November 2024 - October 2026. The main activities are to carry out mangrove rehabilitation and conservation efforts in two villages, where the land condition is currently active and abandoned ponds. The Team Leader will responsible to manage the MARVEL SEA Project through planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring successful delivery of specific project goals, outcomes, and outputs in line with WVI’s standard.
