- To manage a team of Clinical Psychologists, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists and Counsellors, in this dynamic service.
- To support the development and growth of the Talking Therapy Team by supporting clinicians and managing the day to day operation.
- To support the service in achieving its utilisation and financial targets.
- To support continuous improvement within the relevant operational areas ensuring delivery of actions by individuals and the team.
- To identify new ways of working and driving team engagement
- To work effectively with Clinical Leads, Operational Leads and other service lines to ensure collaboration.
- To identify training needs of employees and deliver detailed development plans through solution driven discussions.
- Previous experience of managing front-line mental health employees from within a customer focused/ contact centre type environment – people management experience is essential.
- Good knowledge of mental health service provision and operational delivery - preferably from within the private sector with a strong customer focus
- Experience of principles of continuous improvement.
- Change Management experience/ Managing complex dynamic mental health operations.
- Strong planning and time management skills.
- Good communication skills to present performance data and metrics, and the use of analytics for service and process improvement.

Job Description:
Team Manager – Mental Health Services (ideally with experience of working within Mental Health)
Nationwide
Permanent (Remote)
Full-time – 5 days per week (37.5 hours)
Salary - £34,000 upwards (based on experience)
What you’ll be doing
Our Mental Health teams are growing and going from strength to strength. As a result, we are looking to recruit an additional Team Manager to support the Area Manager for Mental Health Services in the leadership and development of these teams. You will specifically lead and support a clinical team of CBT Therapists and Clinical Psychologists who deliver 1-2-1 mental health support, remotely or in face to face sessions, to referrals from our UK insurance and EAP teams. You will develop and motivate these front-line employees to deliver excellent service for our customers supported by clinical review and coaching. Operationally you will also support a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing demand for the service, understanding customer’s needs and delivering process improvements.
