      Job Description

      Provide guidance and assistance to department heads in the application of company policies, interpretation of employment laws, and guidance on employee relations issues.

      • Conducts or assists with internal investigations as instructed by the Director.
      • Provide information and interpretation of policies and procedures to management and team members.
      • Responsible for verifying, tracking and communicating with employees and departments all issues regarding leaves of absence to include data entry.
      • Responsible for tracking, via data input, disciplinary notices.
      • Responsible for the timely administration of unemployment claims for the property consisting of gathering all pertinent information, conducting any relevant interviews and serving as a witness if necessary.
      • Manage workers compensation claims.
      • Coordinates team member activities and events.
      • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters.

      Qualifications

      • Must be at least 21 years of age.
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
      • Five (5) years of related human resources experience preferred.
      • Previous employee management experience preferred.
      • Knowledgeable of HR concepts, policies and procedures, with clear understanding of legal compliance requirements and employment laws with the ability to draft and present corporate policies.
      • Strong skills in MS Office applications.
      • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
      • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
