      Job summary

This role requires the post holder to provide an efficient and comprehensive secretarial/administrative support service based at Marlow House, City North Local Mental Health Team.

The role requires an experienced and professional individual who has a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise and work on their own initiative.

Applicants must be IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, highly organised and be able to consistently demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, work well with others and enjoy working without supervision and as part of a team, as well as highly organised. You should have a passion for providing a quality service and a track record of adding value to a workplace

Please note that this post may not meet the pay and skill level required for a Skilled worker visa

Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa and also does not appear on the shortage occupation list for healthcare and education.

  • About the company

National Health Service (NHS) is the umbrella term for the publicly-funded healthcare systems of the United Kingdom (UK). The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery—a health service based on clinical need, not ability to pay. Each service provides a comprehensive range of health services, free at the point of use for people ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom apart from dental treatment and optical care.
