Job summary
We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual to join our service as a Team Secretary for the Mid Locality Dementia & Older People's Mental Health Team (Gannel). Although the Team and this position will be primarily based at Underground House, Trevissome Park, Truro, there will be a requirement to also work from Truro Health Park at times, to provide cover within the wider admin team who are based there.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work and be able to clearly communicate with colleagues, patients, carers, the general members of the public and representatives from other hospital and organisations.
Do you have effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, are able to prioritise work, handle difficult situations and have a flexible approach to working as part of a team? If so, it's you we are looking for to integrate well with the existing team and offer the required flexibility in supporting the functions of the team. This is a full-time post working Monday - Friday, 08.45 a.m. - 17.15 p.m.

Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to the Mid Locality Dementia & Older Peoples Mental Health Team - in particular Clinical team members for the Gannel Team, whilst also working alongside the Fowey and Fal Team Secretaries as required, ensuring that all requests, either typing or administrative are promptly met.
To ensure effective lines of communication between team members, patients, and others, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
To provide cover in the absence of other key admin and clerical staff, as required.
