      Job summary

      An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Team Secretary/Administrator to work within TEWV Mindfulness Team and will be hybrid working.

      The TEWV Mindfulness Team work with service users and carers in county Durham and Darlington, Teesside, North Yorkshire, York and Selby as well as with health and social care staff across the north of England. We are a registered national training centre for Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Teacher training.

      The team is a busy working environment and will involve dealing with staff, other professionals, other agencies, patients, and carers. The main responsibilities of the role will be to provide full administrative support to the multi disciplinary team and to work alongside a full time Team Secretary colleague. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as well as the necessity to maintain confidentiality. Ability to show initiative, work from home and be a team player are essential.

      Main duties of the job

      General administration, use of patient record system, ability to use a number of systems (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Exel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher). Clear written and verbal communication with patients, carers, colleagues, professionals and other agencies that contact the team by phone and email. Ability to be flexible in your work and be able to prioritise the important tasks and requests from the team.
