  Overview:

  We are seeking a brilliant and enthusiastic intern to join our dynamic team, as Application Portfolio Manager. As Application Portfolio Manager you will contribute to optimization of the organization's portfolio of IT assets, with a primary focus on applications. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including IT leaders, business analysts, enterprise architects, and application owners, to ensure that the application portfolio aligns with business objectives and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and willingness to drive results in a dynamic IT environment.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Application Portfolio Management:

  • Contribute to assessment, classification, and optimization of the organization's application portfolio.
  • Work closely with application owners to ensure that applications align with business needs and contribute to strategic goals.

  Prioritization:

  • Contribute to prioritization of applications based on business value, risk, and strategic importance.

  Financial Management:

  • Contribute to evaluation of the total cost of ownership for each application and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Work with financial analysts to manage the IT portfolio budget and ensure cost-effective solutions.

  Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with risk management and compliance teams to ensure that the IT portfolio meets regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to identification of risks associated with the application portfolio.

  Communication and Reporting:

  • Communicate IT portfolio strategy, status, and performance to key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into the health and effectiveness of the IT portfolio.

  Your Profile:

  • Academic: Currently pursuing a degree from a Business or Engineering School, reflecting a passion for strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, leveraging technology to enhance productivity.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in both English and French, enabling effective communication in our diverse and international work environment.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
