The team also develops and supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards. Intern Job Description Looking for a software developer to join us to work on a family of "P2" software tools that together navigate and enable construction of The Internet: construction workflow management network topology “The Internet” infrastructure changes reporting operations Role includes but is not limited to: thinking learning business converting business to technical ideas converting these ideas to computer programs being available sharing knowledge helping others on a team Job Responsibilities Responsible for managing the complete life cycle of moderately complex projects, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time. Develops timelines and plans. Ensures progress to plan, tracks critical project achievements, and communicates progress to all project stakeholders. Works with cross-functional project team to establish and achieve goals. Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to: Creating great software products with Clojure, ClojureScript, Redis, Kafka, PostgreSQL Evolving infrastructure: HashiCorp stack (Nomad, Consul, Vault, Terraform), AWS, ELK, Telegraf, Grafana Thinking Learning business Converting business to technical ideas Converting these ideas to computer programs Being available Sharing knowledge Helping others on a team Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Skills JavaScript / TypeScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, GraphQL, MongoDB, SQL, AWS: Step/Lambda Functions, S3 Clojure, ClojureScript, Redis, Kafka, PostgreSQL, HashiCorp Clearly spoken Honest Preferred Majors: Computer Science / Information Systems Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university Rising Junior or Rising Senior with an anticipated graduation date of December 2024, Spring 2025, December 2026 or Spring 2026. Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting. Internship roles will be office-based with no virtual offerings.
