Design, develop, maintain , and deliver specialized training courses and curriculum on high-speed currency processing equipment and operational practices to Cash Operations personnel.
Facilitate training for designated customer groups with the ability to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies.
Produce results while working independently or as a member of a team in the development of training materials; accepting directions and constructive feedback; establishing and maintaining positive professional relationships; communicating effectively and working cooperatively with customers, peers, vendors, supervisors and technical subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of learning materials.
Participate in learning needs assessments and develop plans and curricula to meet needs; ensuring all learning materials are accurate , meet learning objectives , and reflect a professional look and feel.
Review and evaluate metrics and feedback (e.g., surveys, interviews) to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Contribute to marketing communications and documentation deliverables for training services.
Facilitate customer briefings on new technologies and implementation strategies.
May test hardware and software releases for high-speed currency processing equipment to ensure functionality and accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree or higher; or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience or 5+ years of cash operations experience
Proficiency working in Articulate 360, Camtasia, or other instructional design software preferred
Broad knowledge and understanding of instructional design concepts and how to apply them to adult learners.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization, Bank management, and the Board of Governors.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated planning and problem-solving skills.
Average 50% travel
Ability to travel to any of the 28 cash offices, if needed, to assist with training at other locations

The Richmond hiring range for the Technical & Process Trainer is: Intermediate: $ 72,500 - $99,660 ; Senior $ 89,700 - $123,310 annually.
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.

The FedCash Services function has an immediate opening for two Technical & Process Trainers at either the Intermediate or Senior level that supports the delivery of technical training to cash operations staff on the high-speed currency processing system , reporting to the Manager of FedCash Services Training.
This role will support the Next Generation Currency Processing Equipment (NextGen) Program. The NextGen Program is a multi-year effort to replace the Federal Reserve's fleet of high-speed currency processing machines. The program will design, develop, and deploy a new fleet of currency processing machines and currency sensors that will bring the latest technology to the Federal Reserve’s 28 currency processing locations.
What You Will Do:
As the Technical & Process Trainer, you will be responsible for collaborating with peers and subject matter experts to design, develop, and maintain training offerings, including but not limited to classroom facilitation, eLearning design and development, virtual training, technical documentation, web support, customer service, and custom training solutions.
At the Intermediate level, you would be expected to create training materials with some assistance from peers , possess working knowledge base of cash operations environment, serve as a contributor to cross-functional teams, and display strong communication skills.
At the Senior level, you would be expected to lead the planning, development, and delivery of complex training, create training materials independently, possess advanced knowledge base of cash operations environment, serve as a key participant for cross-functional teams and display e xcellent communication skills.
