      Responsibilities / Tasks

      Would you like to be as OpenText ECM SME responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in ECM technology and its integration with business processes, ensuring the organization's content is managed and stored in a secure, efficient, and compliant manner.

      GEA is one of the world's largest suppliers of production solutions and components to the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries and you will be working in the IT Service Delivery organization where we deliver innovative and reliable services by implementing new applications and features that meet the evolving needs of our business and customers. A key focus is the management and optimization of core services, including the latest OpenText xECM platform integrated with our SAP S/4Hana ERP Template which is currently being rolled out globally.

      More concretely, you will:

      • Design and implement customer-specific solutions based on OpenText/SAP Extended ECM
      • Optimize and support existing OpenText xECM solutions, with a focus on SAP integration.
      • Provide technical and functional consulting to internal teams.
      • Responsibility for the functional and technical support and optimization of the OpenText xECM solution
      • Strong collaboration with the SAP IT Service Delivery teams
      • Cooperation and coordination with external consultants and other service providers
      • Further development of existing and future business processes
      • Creation of user documentation and Key-User trainings
      • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in ECM and recommend opportunities for adoption.
      • Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members in ECM best practices

      Your Profile / Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information management, Computer Science, or related field
      • Broad IT expertise with a proven track record in complex, multinational corporate environments
      • 5 years+ of professional experience with OpenText xECM (Archive, Capture, Document Management, etc.)
      • Enthusiasm and passion for ECM technology
      • Strong understanding of document management, records management, and information governance principles
      • Proven experience in ECM solution design and implementation in large or medium-sized organizations
      • Experience with document technologies in the SAP environment
      • Knowledge in working in complex Azure environments and OpenText SaaS solutions
      • Effective communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
      • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
      • Experience in project management and delivering projects on time and within budget
      • A strong methodological, technical understanding and an analytical way of working
      • Security conscious mindset
      • Fluent English Language skills are necessary, German Language skills are considered as a plus
      • This position will be based in the GEA IT Head office in Dusseldorf, Germany
