      The position requires a professional with a foundational understanding of networking protocols and products, who can independently handle troubleshooting and customer interactions with a focus on delivering service excellence. The role involves supporting experts with debugging, system analysis, and defect management, while also ensuring compliance with SLAs. Additionally, the individual will contribute to technical documentation, laboratory tasks, and product competency development.

      Qualifications

      You have:

      • Understanding of network-related disciplines with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
      • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure SLA adherence.
      • Strong knowledge of protocols and products like GPON, MPLS, SDAN, and Wi-Fi 5/6.
      • Proficiency in remote diagnostics and on-site support.
      • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

      It would be nice if you also had:

      • Familiarity with software configuration, fault management, and functional testing.
      • Ability to perform installations in a lab setting and assist with technical documentation.
      • Knowledge of SQL, Linux, or programming languages (Java, Python), and familiarity with Nokia products (Lightspan, Altiplano, ISAM).

      • Perform tasks with moderate guidance, ensuring adherence to guidelines and policies.
      • Analyze information and propose solutions to resolve straightforward issues.
      • Assist experts in debugging, system-level tracing, and protocol flow analysis.
      • Support in identifying, reproducing, and characterizing defects.
      • Communicate with customers for moderate to complex cases, providing support.
      • Ensure escalated cases are handled within SLAs.
      • Assist in software configuration, fault management, and functional testing.
      • Aid senior experts in creating technical documents and guidelines.

      Nokia’s transition to a primary focus on telecommunications began in the 1990s. The first GSM call was made in 1991 using Nokia equipment. In 2016 the Nokia brand re-entered the mobile handset market through a licensing agreement with HMD Global, allowing them to offer phones under the Nokia brand.
