What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write, edit, and maintain customer and internal documentation
- Manage help doc requests, including updates and new article creation
- Collaborate with support, product, and engineering teams to gather accurate information
- Organize and maintain searchable documentation across various tools
- Utilize feedback and analytics to identify gaps and improve content quality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-2+ years of experience with Shopify is required, with a bonus for subscription experience
- 1-2+ years of experience in technical writing
- Strong attention to detail and clear, friendly writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stay organized
- Proactive approach to tasks, especially in ambiguous situations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with API, GraphQL, Shopify Liquid, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with knowledge tools like Zendesk, Intercom, or Document360
- Previous experience creating help videos or light training content
- Comfort with leveraging AI tools to optimize processes
