      This Opportunity

      WSP is currently initiating a search for an On-Call Geologist for our Minneapolis, MN office to provide environmental arbitration support requiring critical knowledge of the subsurface geology of Minneapolis fate and transport of chlorinated solvents in various soil types, including glacial till. The successful candidate will develop arbitration technical documents on behalf of WSP’s client and may be called upon to present information to an arbitration panel.

      Your Impact
      • Provide assistance to WSP’s client relating to arbitration support, including:
        • Review historical documents and communications.
        • Coordinate and prepare technical presentations.
        • Participate in planning meetings.
        • Present technical information to an arbitration panel.
      • Other duties as requested.
      Who You Are

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or related field.
      • 12+ years of experience involving large and complex remediation and environmental projects,
      • Litigation and arbitration support.
      • Substantial knowledge of the geology of Minneapolis.
      • Chlorinated solvent fate and transport mechanisms and relevant remediation strategies.
      • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
      • Proficient in the use of software applications Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
      • Strong interpersonal skills
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • This position is subject to and contingent upon client approval of candidates put forth for consideration by WSP.
