What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to the TFT Gameplay initiative for a set releasing in 2027
- Work on Traits, champions, champion abilities, and supporting systems
- Collaborate with Designers and Engineers to enhance tools and workflows
- Tackle unforeseen gameplay problems to improve player experience
- Own key gameplay designs and build systems that assist other game designers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduating in the 2025 or 2026 academic year with a focus on Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Completed courses or related work experience in data structures and algorithms
- Proficient in coding with C++ and Blueprints in Unreal Engine
- Deep gameplay experience with Teamfight Tactics (TFT)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Unreal Engine, especially in building character abilities
- Familiarity with data-driven setups like spreadsheets and config tables
- Ability to read, modify, and improve existing code or Blueprints
- Experience creating prototypes, mods, or school projects showcasing design skills
- Experience playing Ranked TFT
