What You’ll Do

Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale, via telephone, email, chat or through other social media platforms. Supports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations (CRM) with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s). Works with various departments to meet maintenance services sales goals. Works with customers and/or distributors to receive accurate account of equipment failures and provides reports to management. Focus of work may be in pre-sale or post-sales or both.

• Work with our instructional designers and semiconductor equipment subject-matter experts to develop accurate and scalable mixed reality training scenarios
• Work with industry-standard software toolsets to develop scalable, VR-ready 3D CAD models based on our internal CAD equipment models
• Develop a successful and obtainable workflow from the CAD environment to the final VR-based project
• Assist with annual updates to existing VR modules to ensure accuracy
• Establish and maintain a library of VR-ready models and re-usable VR-specific code and scenes
• Establish recommended mixed reality toolsets and best-known methods for future-proofing our development efforts
• Troubleshoot VR hardware/software end-user issues both remotely and in the classroom
• Provide guidance and training to other internal VR developers

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum a technical university degree (electrical, mechanical engineering or mechatronic) or a related field (Game Design), from an accredited institute, college or university
• At least three years’ experience in the semiconductor industry preferred
• Unity or Unreal certification a plus
• Experience creating and manipulating large, 3D CAD models in Siemens NX, Creo, and AutoCAD software environments
• Experience with tools and environments such as: Unity, Unreal, Pixyz, Maya, Visual Studio, C++, C#, Python, Javascript and similar a plus
• Experience developing instructional-based games in Unity or Unreal software platforms a plus
• Expert knowledge of VR hardware and software configurations and standards. Knowledge of Steam and Windows Mixed Reality HMDs a plus
• Knowledge of video and audio production software, such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, TechSmith Camtasia a plus
• Knowledge of Lua scripting a plus.
• Exceptional visual and interaction skills
• Travel as required (less than 25%)

Employment in Austria

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group F. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
