      Full-Time, Permanent Position

      Location: Rome, Italy

      Role and Responsibilities

      • Answering technical support calls and emails from Italian cinemas

      • Commissioning, installation, setup and maintenance of servers and media players (remotely)

      • Performing integrity tests of Digital Cinema content files

      • Performing diagnostic checks on servers and media players

      • Monitoring the CDN to ensure readiness and efficiency

      • Upgrade the CDN to increase content delivery capacity

      • Content Management and data I/O activities

      • On call availability for shifts on nights, weekends (one per month approx) and during Live Events

      • Live Events technical support: coordination with third party tech partners and second level support, set up and monitoring media players, help desk during the event

      • Maintain constant communication with managers, staff and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company

      • Implement and maintain quality protocols

      • Help to increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity.

      Key Requirements

      The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, with excellent time-management, as well as: a

      • Linux knowledge

      • Network protocols knowledge

      • Teamwork, extremely detail-oriented, ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines

      • The ability to prioritize workload combined with a sense of urgency, working well under pressure and meeting multiple critical deadlines daily

      • Fluent in English, Spanish is welcome

      • Two or more years of proven success in an operations role

      • Strong aptitude for learning new applications, tools and workflows

      • A background in audiovisual content and film distribution is desirable but not required
