  To strengthen our team in Charleston,
  we are looking for you as a(n) Technical Operator - Crushing.
  The Technical Operator (Crushing) will be working on the assembly line and respond to technical issues. They will perform manual tasks for feeding the lines, unloading the lines, loading, breaking raw material, and stacking 22 lbs. bags.
  Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform production duties on the line.
  • Attend to machine errors.
  • Use a 15 lb. hammer for crushing silicon rods; lift 22 lb. bags to inspect & unload them in a box.
  • Input downtime information into the downtime tracking system.
  • Report on production issues, provide feedback to technical staff.
  • Contact appropriate personnel when additional expertise is required.
  • Follow company policies regarding health and environmental protection, work safety, plant safety and quality.
  • Responsible for RCRA generation as relating to container and labeling usage, maintenance and storage functions, and regular inspections of RCRA applicable areas.
  • Identify opportunities to improve throughput and uptime.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Physical strength and endurance are essential for this position.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders
  • Proven technical and mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
  • Skill set to operate in a fast-paced production environment while focusing on safety, quality, and precision.
