Job Description
- Req#: 25612
- Perform production duties on the line.
- Attend to machine errors.
- Use a 15 lb. hammer for crushing silicon rods; lift 22 lb. bags to inspect & unload them in a box.
- Input downtime information into the downtime tracking system.
- Report on production issues, provide feedback to technical staff.
- Contact appropriate personnel when additional expertise is required.
- Follow company policies regarding health and environmental protection, work safety, plant safety and quality.
- Responsible for RCRA generation as relating to container and labeling usage, maintenance and storage functions, and regular inspections of RCRA applicable areas.
- Identify opportunities to improve throughput and uptime.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Physical strength and endurance are essential for this position.
- Effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders
- Proven technical and mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
- Skill set to operate in a fast-paced production environment while focusing on safety, quality, and precision.
