      Job Title: Technical Operator

      Location: Swindon

      We are recruiting for a Technical Operator to join the team at our Swindon site.

      We need someone who can work shifts: Double days: 7am-3pm and 2.45pm -10.45pm.

      Responsibilities:

      • Complete all activities to effectively acquire and maintain a Bronze license Badge – Production areas (Grade C/D) access. Maintain the Bronze license through successful requalification every 2 years.
      • Set up and operation of non-aseptic and aseptic filling lines.
      • Preparation, testing and set up of multiple modules in readiness for manufacturing and fill/finish processes.
      • Formulation of Pharmaceuticals using custom manufacturing skids, vessel systems in compliance to batch manufacturing records.
      • Perform Manufacturing, Filling, operational duties, e.g. line clearance, In Process Checks (IPC) checks, replace components on-line, complete batch & associated documentation, right first time for accordance with SOPs to ensure compliance with cGMP.
      • Set equipment to ensure minimum downtime levels, minimum product damage/waste, support machine start-up, changeovers, testing and cleaning activities.
      • Cleaning and maintenance of area/equipment.
      • As the need arises perform Clean In Place (CIP) and Steam In Place (SIP) activities using HMI controlled systems. Operation of airlocks, autoclaves, automated vessels/ equipment cleaning systems to ensure that all equipment is sterilised ready for use.
      • Using Quality systems for GMP changes and report writing.
      • Conduct environmental monitoring in accordance to procedures.

      Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

      Maths GCSE and English GCSE 4 (C) and above.

      Basic IT user including MS Office and Internet.

      Experience of working in a regulated industry e.g. Pharmaceuticals, Food, Automotive, Make-Up & Engineering preferred.

      Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

      Able to follow verbal and written instructions and production schedules.

      Stay focussed and concentrate despite repetitive tasks.

      Methodical approach.

      Physically fit (able to lift 15kg and stand for a sustained period of time with reasonable adjustments).
