- Pricing Analysis
- Detail pricing analysis segmented by vertical market
- Document product mix by vertical segment
- Look for insights on competitive pricing trends - overall, by lift system, by fabric type
- Develop new templates to compare competitive quotes
- Work with Product Managers to develop 2025 pricing recommendations based on brand / competitive positioning
- New Product Market Research
- Work with Product Managers to develop plan for market research on unmet needs in specific vertical segments
- Test concepts that are currently on the commercial NPD roadmap as well as new ideas
- Execute market research with key channel influencers - end users, developers, architects, designers, dealers
- Translate market research into updated NPD roadmap for 2025 budget process
- SKU productivity
- Work with supply chain and engineering to compile list of SKUs for each category of options and accessories (motors, controls, pocket / fascia,...)
- Compile 3 year sales data for each SKU, along with current inventory and MOQ
- Calculate the productivity of each SKU
- Identify potential SKUs that could be deleted and/or combined with others for overall new SKU reduction
- Previous internship experience in relevant function preferred
- Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Sophomore/Junior level
- Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Related Major Preferred
- Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and attention to detail)
