      Hold a critical role within the emerging Product division. Work closely with team members to determine the feasibility of new loan orientation system (LOS) products by conducting market research and documenting business and technical requirements for existing and new products.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Work directly with financial institutions, vendors, and multi-functional teams to simplify new client onboarding and implementation solutions and to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

      • Prioritize tasks and resources. Ensure compliance with established pricing, client approvals, and billing guidelines.

      • Develop project proposals, assist with business case development to meet stakeholder visions, and serve as champion for new product development projects, guiding them from initiation to successful completion.

      • Partner with stakeholders (including but not limited to: ITS, PMO, Business Development, and Sales) to successfully plan, develop, test, and implement assigned projects and programs, and to help drive their commercialization.

      • Work with project staff and clients to identify and resolve potential issues.

      • Work with member credit unions and advisory group credit unions for select market evaluation, research, surveys, focus groups, and pilot testing.

      • Conduct thorough initial discovery of the client's underwriting guidelines, product configurations, policies, and procedures to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current system setup and business needs. Identify areas for improvement and address any custom requests.

      • Complete Gap Analysis to define system set-up requirements.

      • Collaborate with clients and vendors to establish an effective implementation plan for the LOS.

      • Facilitate meetings with key client personnel, communicate conversion schedules and changes to all stakeholders, and manage client business requirements.

      • Ensure completion of the Client Configuration Document (CCD) to facilitate a smooth implementation process.

      • Provide ongoing support to clients post-implementation, as well as resolve issues and facilitate the adoption of new features and enhancements.

      • Engage with product leadership and senior business leadership to communicate product strategy, direction, and changes.

      • Ensure projects align to short-term and long-term product development strategy and objectives.

      • Partner with Project Managers to effectively resolve project issues. Provide insight and direction during complex product development projects.

      • Serve as a key consultant within the various business, product, and technology units.

      • Interface with cross functional groups to communicate and ensure successful project deliverables and manage expectations responsibly.

      • Provide verbal and written communication non-technical end users can understand.

      • Assist emerging Product Leader in analyzing the business processes for inefficiencies and make recommendations for solutions or improvements.

      • Develop beneficial working relationships with key interface groups in order to maximize knowledge base and identify all opportunities.

      • Ensure continuity of services by serving as a subject matter expert on business functionality and on the impact of system changes.

      • Share knowledge and experience in a collaborative and cohesive manner.

      • Mentor team members and work collaboratively with Product Development staff.

      • Develop strong working relationship with assigned business group operations,

      • Enterprise Architects, Product Managers, and Enterprise Project Managers to assist with project planning and scope management.

      • Represent Velera at conferences, tradeshows, and vendor negotiations that impact the development of new products and solutions as assigned.

      • Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge in specialized areas. Remain up to date on current business analysis trends and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field required.

      • Seven years of experience supporting technical products in product management, Agile project management, and/or business systems analysis required. Including any experience with: managing large-scale hardware and software technology projects in the financial or credit union industry; core or account processing; Loan Origination Systems and the Amount platform; working with fintech and startup companies; Software as a Service (SaaS) lending; UI/UX practices in both iOS and Android; Microsoft Office, Visio, and business documentations applications; the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); and building strategies and plans centered on consumer/customer needs.

      • May work remotely from any Velera-approved U.S. location.

      • Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.

      Pay Equity

      Velera is committed to pay equity and a competitive benefits package. The hiring amount for this position based on relevant experience and internal equity; the pay range is:

      $114,171.00

      to

      $128,900.00

      *Note: The amount shown is based on full time annual salary and would be prorated based on role.

      In addition this position is eligible for an incentive plan, based on performance.
