Operations
Lead day-to-day operations for a global data factory that annotates drive data
Coordinate with our labeling team to ensure that data is accurately curated, is fully annotated, and meets customer requirements
Write complex SQL queries to select data for annotation and investigate labeling pipelines
Build and maintain internal documentation that operations teams use to supervise data labeling efforts
Analytics
Generate dashboards that will be used to make data-informed decisions to improve operations
Analyze operational metrics and identify bottlenecks in processes
Customer
Deliver data to engineering customers in the form of fully annotated data for machine learning
Engage customers to understand project requirements, distill those requirements to operations teams, and supervise/report progress
Solicit feedback from customers, build tight feedback loops, and communicate revised mentorship to relevant operations teams
Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or Operations
3+ years of experience in technical program management, consulting, or operations
Experience writing advanced SQL queries
Strong client leadership skills with the ability to engage many customers simultaneously, understand requests of a technical nature, and deliver requested data on time
Cross-functional leader who can work with a diverse set of technical and non-technical users and deliver results
Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
Consistent track record to thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring order to ambiguous situations
Experience working with Operations, Engineering, and Product teams to develop and improve operational processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Background with autonomous vehicles and/or data operations
Experience in a startup environment
Background with complex data visualization
Experience with Jira
History of managing customers
MBA is a plus
We are looking for an outstanding Technical Program Manager to join the Data Operations team within NVIDIA's Autonomous Vehicles (AV) business unit! The team's primary focus is on driving scale, improving efficiency, and enhancing productivity within the AV organization. We are involved end-to-end in all aspects of generating data used for AV development -- from customer alignment to data collection, ingestion, and labeling. The ideal candidate is (1) operationally-minded, (2) analytical, and (3) customer-focused. This is a high-visibility role where the candidate is encouraged to complete assignments with tight deadlines and communicate results to leadership. The candidate should have a background and/or interest in autonomous vehicles and be comfortable working in ambiguous environments with minimal mentorship.
