We are looking for an outstanding Technical Program Manager to join the Data Operations team within NVIDIA's Autonomous Vehicles (AV) business unit! The team's primary focus is on driving scale, improving efficiency, and enhancing productivity within the AV organization. We are involved end-to-end in all aspects of generating data used for AV development -- from customer alignment to data collection, ingestion, and labeling. The ideal candidate is (1) operationally-minded, (2) analytical, and (3) customer-focused. This is a high-visibility role where the candidate is encouraged to complete assignments with tight deadlines and communicate results to leadership. The candidate should have a background and/or interest in autonomous vehicles and be comfortable working in ambiguous environments with minimal mentorship.

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Operations

        • Lead day-to-day operations for a global data factory that annotates drive data

        • Coordinate with our labeling team to ensure that data is accurately curated, is fully annotated, and meets customer requirements

        • Write complex SQL queries to select data for annotation and investigate labeling pipelines

        • Build and maintain internal documentation that operations teams use to supervise data labeling efforts

      • Analytics

        • Generate dashboards that will be used to make data-informed decisions to improve operations

        • Analyze operational metrics and identify bottlenecks in processes

      • Customer

        • Deliver data to engineering customers in the form of fully annotated data for machine learning

        • Engage customers to understand project requirements, distill those requirements to operations teams, and supervise/report progress

        • Solicit feedback from customers, build tight feedback loops, and communicate revised mentorship to relevant operations teams

      What We Need to See:

      • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or Operations

      • 3+ years of experience in technical program management, consulting, or operations

      • Experience writing advanced SQL queries

      • Strong client leadership skills with the ability to engage many customers simultaneously, understand requests of a technical nature, and deliver requested data on time

      • Cross-functional leader who can work with a diverse set of technical and non-technical users and deliver results

      • Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills

      • Consistent track record to thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring order to ambiguous situations

      • Experience working with Operations, Engineering, and Product teams to develop and improve operational processes

      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

      • Background with autonomous vehicles and/or data operations

      • Experience in a startup environment

      • Background with complex data visualization

      • Experience with Jira

      • History of managing customers

      • MBA is a plus
