Job Description

- Experience with client budgetary cycle and associated tools
- Experience building long-term strategic budget proposal/plans, to include building plans across the FYEP
- Experience executing and monitoring of funds, to include initiating application of funds onto contracts, SLAs, etc.
- Experience coordinating with stakeholders, COTRs, and Project Manager (PMs) leads to prepare individual project spend plans as well as consolidating project spend plans into full portfolio spend plan
- Experience preparing data, written materials, and briefings for client in response to internal and external requests for information
- Customer domain experience
- Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up to support the customer's needs, multi-task, work autonomously, and take the initiative to provide creative alternatives to intractable challenges or systemic problems.
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD

The candidate will provide budget integration support to a fast-paced and dynamic customer environment for the Operations Division. The candidate will manage day-to-day activities related to financial management of a multi-million dollar portfolio. The division is responsible for managing over 30 individual project budget activities with requirements that evolve and change throughout the year. The candidate will support the customer throughout the budgetary cycle including building strategic budget proposals, ensuring appropriate execution actions occur (including consolidating and updating division-level spend plans from individual projects), and facilitate requests for unfunded requirements. Candidate will attend and participate in relevant briefings with customer management, processing both internal and external requests for information, and draft responses to them through various forms of written and verbal communication. The candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, and communicate regularly with many independent project leads, customer management, and Department-Level programmatic and budget individuals.
