  What does a successful Technical Project Management – Sr Professional II do at fiserv ?

  • Project Management: Lead and manage infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and senior management, to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate and manage resources efficiently to ensure project success, including personnel, budget, and technology.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with infrastructure projects to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and oversight for infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure necessary hardware, software, and services, ensuring they meet project requirements.

  What will you do:

  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of infrastructure solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project delivery and infrastructure management.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure all infrastructure projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and security protocols

  What will you need to know:

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects that improve systems availability and resilience.

  What would be great to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management for infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience in managing projects with budgets over $1 million.
  • Technical proficiency in infrastructure systems and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
