- Ensure the review process is accurately and effectively executed in line with defined procedures enabling delivery of client certificates promptly.
- Remain informed of certification, accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Provide a first-class service to both internal and external customers ensuring customer satisfaction is the highest of priorities.
- Ensuring that the business complies with the processes for maintaining robust certification decisions in line with accreditation requirements.
- Effective specialist advice is delivered on a timely basis.
- Timely certificate issue
- Accurate reporting
- Maintaining the high profile of the department by effectively using the Customer First principles
- Understanding of Management Systems such as ISO 9001 is essential – Lead Auditor experience would be desirable.
- Whilst this is a technical role, you don't need to come to us with technical knowledge.
- Experience of understanding technical documents is essential - you might have studied or worked in law, or engineering and have gotten exposure that way.
- The environment, whilst very process driven is also fast paced and often changing, so you need to be a great time manager, able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail - if you're not detail orientated, you won't enjoy or excel in this position. You'll also need to be comfortable pushing back and asking difficult questions.
- People & Collaboration skills - It's not always easy to challenge someone, especially if they are more experienced than you, but this role requires just that - this team acts as the gatekeepers of our accreditation requirements, and it's vital that we as a company are thorough to ensure accuracy when issuing certificates.

Role: Technical Reviewer
Location : Milton Keynes
About the role:
Our Compliance and Risk Team has an opening for a Technical Reviewer to join on a full time, permanent basis, working from our offices in Milton Keynes, on a hybrid working model, meaning you will have the flexibility to work from home.
A Technical Reviewer's role is to review technical documents in support of certification recommendations from our client managers, ensuring that these meet our accreditation requirements and to make technical decisions on certificate issue (for example, ISO 9001 certification).
Your role will include the identification and resolution of technical queries and to ensure that these are investigated and resolved with the relevant stakeholder internally, be it our audit team, our sales team or elsewhere. Your stakeholders are all internal - this isn't a client facing role.
You will work as part of a team primarily covering the UK&I with some technical support provided globally.
Training and support will be provided to ensure that you are able to meet technical review targets both individually and as a team.
