      Overview

      Stryten Energy is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to grow our Network Power business in your assigned region. This is a customer-facing, high-impact role where you'll work hands-on with a talented team, support value-added resellers, and help deliver critical backup power solutions to a wide range of industries—including data centers, telecom, utilities, and emergency lighting.

      You'll play a key role in commercializing our advanced 100kV power offering, built on Absolyte 2-volt battery cell technology.       This home-based position may be located in the central or mountain time zones near a major airport.Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. The salary range for this role is: $133,000 - $156,000 per year. In addition, this position will be eligible for a full range medical, dental and vision benefits.

      Responsibilities

      • Serve as the go-to technical expert for quoting and sizing battery systems based on customer load requirements.
      • Work directly with VARs (Value-Added Resellers) and customers to provide custom power solutions.
      • Create detailed quotes from customer specifications with a hands-on approach.
      • Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product capabilities.
      • Identify and define customer needs through direct engagement and technical consultation.
      • Actively support sales efforts by translating technical features into customer value.

      Qualifications

      Education, Experience, Certifications:

      • BS Degree in engineering. Electrical or Chemical preferred.
      • Strong technical foundation with the ability to confidently discuss and sell DC power solutions.
      • Proven ability to size batteries and develop solutions based on load requirements.
      • Excellent communication skills — comfortable interfacing between engineering teams and customers.
      • Prior experience in the DC power industry is highly desirable.
      • Strong people skills with a passion for sales and customer service.

      Travel

      • 40% - 60%, or as business deems necessary
