GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Shadow and learn from experienced service engineers on how to maintain and service high end diagnostic imaging equipment. This will include performing preventative maintenance and all urgent and non-urgent services calls on MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray and Nuclear Medicine systems.
Program length - 3 years
Year 1 - Theory and basics including shadowing and basic service calls (X-ray, CT, MRI, Mammo, US, Nuclear Medicine and PET, Bone Density, Injectors, DICOM
Year 2 - Service training with hands-on PM and service calls (X-ray, US, Nuclear Medicine)
Year 3 - Service training and PM (CT, MRI, PET/CT)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor' degree in electronics or experience
Good trouble shooting skills
good oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Able to travel out of state for training
Reliable transportation
Able to lift 50 lbs.
