- Experience with Windows 10/11 and Mac OSX
- Prior technical documentation experience
- Provide Level 1 service desk support for hardware, software, and end-user inquiries via phone, chat, email, and in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues
- Document solutions in a clear and concise manner for use by coworkers and future reference
- Create knowledge base articles on common issues and solutions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all service requests
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a self-motivated and customer-service oriented IT professional to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our users for a variety of hardware, software, and end-user issues. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently, document solutions for future reference, and collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
This position follows a 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift schedule; however, the schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
An associates degree and less than one year of relevant experience are required. A bachelors degree and two years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
